Shaney Poo Unites Cultures on New Single “New World Bounce”

Boston recording artist Shaney Poo is making waves with the release of his latest single, New World Bounce,” which officially dropped on June 5, 2026. Released through BLAC Pop, the energetic track serves as the latest preview of his highly anticipated upcoming project, Welcome To The New World Order, expected to arrive later this summer. Produced by iiddy Classic and engineered by Rob Whitaker, the record captures Shaney Poo's signature ability to blend multiple genres and cultures into a sound that is uniquely his own.

What makes “New World Bounce” stand out is the global collaboration behind its creation. A proud Haitian-American artist born and raised in Boston, Shaney Poo teamed up with producer iiddy Classic from Tanzania to craft the foundation of the song. To complete his vision, he also connected with two artists from Jamaica who recorded the intro and hook, creating a musical experience that bridges continents and cultures. The carefree energy of the record came from a spontaneous studio session where Shaney Poo simply wanted to let loose, have fun, and speak his mind. The result is an infectious anthem that feels both authentic and innovative. One standout lyric, “I’m a chill ass dude, I ain’t trying to be rude, but you’ll get smacked in your face before you finish up your food,” reminds listeners of the confidence and personality he brings to every track.

Known as a songwriter, producer, cultural curator, and co-founder of B.L.A.C Pop Music and Show & Tell Boston, Shaney Poo has spent years helping elevate Boston's independent music scene. His genre-bending catalog fuses Pop, Hip-Hop, Afro-Caribbean, and Gospel influences while reflecting both his Haitian heritage and creative imagination. Having earned multiple Boston Music Award nominations and built a reputation as one of the city's most versatile artists, Shaney Poo continues to push boundaries with every release. “New World Bounce” follows previous singles from the upcoming project and sets the stage for what promises to be one of his most ambitious releases to date. Fans can stream the new single now and stay tuned for the official release date of Welcome To The New World Order and upcoming live performances.
