BRICK & MORTAR MUSIC HALL

(SAN FRANCISCO)

“THERE WILL BE BLOOD” is nothing short of a classic, never to be repeated, underground hip hop.  Featuring a stellar line up of acts from across the country, this event is a must for fans of beats, rap, hip hop, lyricists, and over all anyone interested in good music.  The tour welcomes headlining artist, Brooklyn’s own, MR. MFN EXQUIRE.  EX sprung to fame in 2011 with his YouTube hit and blogger favorite, “The Last Huzzah” with a remix that features Danny Brown, EL-P, Despot and Das Racist.  He has been praised by significant online publications such as NOISEY, Rolling Stone and Stereogum.

The tour also features the hip hop artist MIBBS who is formerly of the group PAC DIV.  MIBBS recently released his first solo album, “The Program”, which has been well received by the hip hop and rap communities alike.  His single “$100” is a particular favorite of many.  Also as support we have NOCANDO from Los Angeles who is one of the founding members of Hellfyre Club and resident host of the international party, ‘Low End Theory’ as well as DJ and Producer Taurus Scott also from Hellfyre Club and Low End Thoery.

Locally San Francisco welcomes one of the most innovative up and coming acts from the bay, POPGANG DJ’s (Manics), who will be holding down the opening slot.  POPGANG is a progressive group of DJ’s and PRODUCERS that have been catching a ton of recent buzz and making waves within the local party and DJ scenes.

Cole Lumpkin Moves With the Music, Letting Life Shape Every Note

Cole Lumpkin doesn’t create from a distance. He creates from inside the moment. As a New York City native, his artistry reflects motion, curiosity, and constant self-interrogation. Music for Lumpkin isn’t something you step into once everything is figured out. It’s something you carry with you, refine on the move, and allow to grow alongside real life. A self-taught…See More

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV. Two kids not much older than him were on the screen — backwards clothes, fearless energy, commanding the world. It was Kris Kross performing “Jump.”And in that moment, something clicked. It wasn’t just the beat.It wasn’t just the crowd. It was the power. From that day forward, Prentice didn’t just listen to hip-hop — he became it.He sharpened his pen studying legends.…See More
