Arsonal Da Rebel “Chicken and Watermelon” Single

When one of the world’s premiere battle rappers links up with epic New Orleans talent, amazing things happen. And Arsonal Da Rebel's most recent offering, a single entitled “Chicken and Watermelon” and its accompanying visuals, are proof.


Newark, New Jersey native Arsonal Da Rebel blazed a white-hot trail clean through the world of battle rap where he is recognized as one of the world’s most exquisite competitors. Ask any battle rap fan and they will tell you there are few on Arsonal’s level. Arsonal’s battles have garnered millions of views during his meteoric rise to fame. Not only is he one of the battle rap world’s most highly lauded competitors, but he also owns his own battle rap league and recording studio. His business acumen, unrivaled work ethic and talent opened doors and Arsonal proudly walked through them. Now he's sitting atop the entertainment world, while continuing to constantly put in work.

The visuals to “Chicken and Watermelon” were filmed and directed by @mastermindrichy and @agi.shotit in the legendary 17th Ward neighborhood of Hollygrove, a mecca for endless talent. It features well-known New Orleans movers and shakers such as Reem and ST DA A&R of sophisticated street label 0017th, comedian and rapper Rob Kazi, legendary rapper, songwriter and entrepreneur UTP Skip, rapper and media personality Eazymoney, and many more familiar faces. It also features iconic Hollygrove landmarks and of course, they brought out the twerkers.

Visuals are available on YouTube. The single is available for download and streaming on all major platforms. "Chicken and Watermelon" was produced by superproducer Blaqnmild.
