Mainy Mike is an Oakland-born rapper that has upper management written all over him. He grew up in East Oakland where he was impacted by the harsh reality of the streets. Mainy was exposed to many of those harsh realities growing up, but he managed to turn his negative experiences into positive ones.

In high school Mainy played basketball and football, he also developed a sports mentality that he eventually brought to the rap game. "I'm an opportunist. If I see an opportunity to make a game winning play, it’s done. Mike got the name Mainy Mike from a co-worker at a bay area radio station. He was named Mainy Mike because he is so outgoing. The 25 year old artist got his start at the age of 12.

Although you may not recognize his name or face, you will most definitely get into his sound. Hip-Hop has started this young man on a journey of traveling all over the country to various, high schools, conferences, concerts, television, interviews and the journey will definitely not stop here. Mainy Mike is expanding his repertoire to include acting as well as comedy.

Mainy will be releasing his debut album in the summer of 2010. Be on the lookout for Mainy Mike coming your way soon!
