Bio:
Milwaukee based hip-hop artist Brandon Bishop, (born August 10th, 1991) better known by his stage name Cezar, has surprised the urban scene over and over again.
Cezar is about to release his debut mixtape, much to the excitement of his already growing number of fans. With the mixtape expected to be a success and fame imminent, the exciting, thought-provoking sound that he has made his own is certain to gain interest from across the world.
The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in a music loving family meant that Cezar was always surrounded by different forms of music. His mother was a full-time single mother with various jobs, and his parents exposed him to music as a child, all of which influenced his development.
His first foray into learning how to rap came when he started to write brief songs at 9 years old. Later he began recording around the age of 15 and became immersed in the hip-hop culture.
Cezar’s musical journey began in Milwaukee, WI , however. Partially raised in Albany, Georgia , it was here that he developed his musical tastes and interests.
After realizing that making music was his main goal, he began to showcase his talent in various neighborhoods of Georgia, freestyling at numerous functions and making sure that his name and music were being heard by as many people as possible.
Although his name was continuing to grow in Albany , it was not here that he was destined to become a star. Instead, Cezar had developed an affinity with his hometown Milwaukee having travelled back and forth there frequently as a child, and he returned in 2007
Here his musical ambitions continued to grow, aided by the sounds of his beloved city that he found all around him. He is keen to point out that everything he listens to directs his musical development in some way. However, he would certainly include Adele, Slaughterhouse, Joe Budden, Jay-Z, Duffy and The Isley Brothers as amongst his biggest influences.

Sparoh’s “Panama” Delivers a Powerful Message of Confidence and Creative Freedom

Sparoh is an Atlanta-based artist creating music at the crossroads of melodic trap, alternative pop, and punk-fueled rebellion. Equal parts vulnerable and unapologetic, her work explores identity, liberation, and the complexities of Black womanhood.Raised in the DMV on a foundation of jazz, funk, and blues, Sparoh was drawn early to artists who challenged convention and redefined what was possible. Influenced by trailblazers like Joyce Kennedy,…See More
