Jahi releases 7th Studio Album
Fresh off his European release, Soulhop The Breakthru in 2006 on EMI Music Denmark, JAHI returns to his organic Hip Hop Roots with a new studio album "LESS IS MORE" on May 27th, 2008. The concept behind the album is just that- Less is More. In this digital world where we are constantly bombarded by new music, new images, videos, mp3, and sounds, JAHI presents a Hiphop recording which gets straight to the point. Real beats and real rhymes. Inspired by his return to the Bay Area, JAHI enlists super producer Bassnectar, emerging Bay Area triple-threat- producer Big Tunes, and others, to create a lush musical landscape blended with lyrics of love, passion, politics and partying with a purpose. The first single off the album, "Explore," features Jahi's friend and musical cadre, Gift of gab of Blackalicious. JAHI continues to speak his mind, motivate to action, and add new perspectives to socially conscious music.
