Event Description

Coda Lounge Presents: A Night of Home-Grown Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul, Funk, and more.

BEETIKI, (formerly of Elemnop) will be performing a showcase set backed by an all-star lineup of musicians. He will be performing songs from his recently released record, "I am I". This album features 17 tracks with features from San Quinn, Bambu (Native Guns), Emassin, Melina Jones, Rojia of Bayonics and more!

The Yung Mars Project, in their complete 8 piece form will be providing a refreshing take on Hip-Hop. Blending classic soul, modern beats, and futuristic funk, Yung Mars has created and refined a sound that is truly original. With a penchant for clever word play and thick harmonized choruses, Mars’ songs are catchy without being cliché.

His latest Release, "Santa Cruz or Bust" made waves on CMJ charts holding firm at the Nationwide #5 Hip-Hop album for 2 months this spring.

Mikos (40Love) is one of the city's finest young producers. He was recently selected to compete in Red Bull's "BIG TUNE" battle, and is the main beat maker for 40Love. MIKOS will be performing an exclusive "BEAT" set featuring his favorite Bay Area underground emcees.

A Bay Area native and national, rising taste-maker Julio Galvez, known by many as "the Whooligan," is a dedicated lover and student of music spanning all genres, cultures, languages, philosophies and countries from around the world.

The Whooligan (Om Records) sets the tone for every event he spins with a refreshingly new and old school style.

+ DJ. DION DECIBELS (Thinkbeat Radio) on the ones and twos.
