WHAT: Music Influencers Panel

The panel will be an open discussion with topics ranging from how technology and new media is changing the face of the music industry, how the use of social media is affecting music artists careers, staying relevant as an artist in the digital age, what it takes to produce a massive music festival, and the creative process of making a hit song, and how they are “Making Life A Little Bit Better” through music. The panel ends with an open Q&A session thereafter.

The UNIQLO Pop-Up Experience (117 Post Street, SF) hosts weekly panels and engaging discussions celebrating San Francisco’s diverse culture: from fashion and technology, art and design, music and food. The overarching theme for each panel is “Making Life A Little Bit Better.”

The first of several engaging panels is UNIQLO TALKS MUSIC on Thursday, August 23, 2012 (6pm-9pm) featuring esteemed panelists: Goapele, R&B sensation and legendary Bay Area musician; Aaron Axelson, indie-DJ icon and music director for Live 105, Stacy Horne, producer for Treasure Island Music Festival and Noise Pop Festival, one of the longest running and celebrated events in the Bay Area; and Chris Smith, CEO of one of the most successful Independent electronic music labels in San Francisco– Om Records.
