This month's [r]EVOLUTION will explore movement of hip hop out of the slums of the South Bronx and across the world. We will examine the beats that brought the movement to life, the rhythms that moved it from street to street, and the minds that have taken hip hop to new levels. What began with block parties in a forgotten part of the world has now spanned the globe, been adopted by other cultures and infused into other genres of music. This is the hip hop diaspora.
