AND we continue with $3 well drinks !! How stoked are you to get 6 drinks for under $20 and still have tip money??

AND in honor of Rita's birthday last week, i'm giving FREE PEACH shots or drinks from 10-10:30pm with the password PEACHES. No you cannot order 6 for... yourself, its one per-person at a time. don't be a greedy fiend.

See you there!! xoxoxo Masaye and the "Peaches" DJs

Bay Area legend Rita Backside first started DJing in college at the USC radio station 8 years ago. She then spun and hosted her own mixshow on Friday Nights from 2am-4am on 106.1 KMEL. She's been featured at clubs all over the Bay Area and Los Angeles. Her notable mixtape series out called Got Bay is brimming with Bay Area slaps and hits. Her advice to aspiring DJs trying to break into the radio business? "Make sure you have your skills on point and make sure you have a humble attitude."

Deeandroid's career highlights include DJing for KRS ONE on his Keep Right Tour Album Release album tour in 2004. In 2009, DJs Celskiii & Deeandroid placed in DMC's USA Championship Competition Team DJ Battle that took place in Los Angeles, CA. They were the First Female DJ crew to ever participate in DMC's 20 year plus DJ Battle Competition History!

"Peaches the Lady DJ Hip Hop party," is a weekly event at Skylark bar in the Mission district of The City. It features some of the Bay Area's most talented female DJs and skratch artists. Here, you'll experience top-notch Hip Hop, R&B, skratching, and vintage gems that make you move. For a chill experience, there's lots of cozy tables and booths to chat and watch the dancing while you sip on a "Peaches" Bellini.

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV. Two kids not much older than him were on the screen — backwards clothes, fearless energy, commanding the world. It was Kris Kross performing “Jump.”And in that moment, something clicked. It wasn’t just the beat.It wasn’t just the crowd. It was the power. From that day forward, Prentice didn’t just listen to hip-hop — he became it.He sharpened his pen studying legends.…See More
