DIRTY DISHES 009
THURS, OCTOBER 28
The LOOKOUT
3600 16th St. @ Market

9PM till you drop, $3

RSVP for guaranteed entry!!

B-Haul will be kicking it in China with his family during DD009 but we have some formidable guest DJ's to more than help make up the slack. Resident Gordon Gartrell is joined by DJ Diagnosis (Airpusher) and Jive (FiX/Heart Deco), they will be bringing the ill beats all night long!

Culinary Curator Christian is back in effect after his world-wide summer tour (honeymoon) and has lined up serious heavy-weights for our Oct food carts, including the return of Best of the Bay award winner Dontaye Ball of Good Foods Catering:

GOOD FOODS CATERING - "OMG! These people aren't cooks, they're Porcine Artistes! I grew up in North Carolina, with some pretty fan-freakin'-tastic BBQ, and let me say these guys know their $#!T! I'm addicted to the Pulled Pork sammy!!!! Just make sure to stock up on napkins before you settle in for the feast!" - Villa S. For Dirty Dishes, expect their famous pulled pork sandwich with a spicy coleslaw and a bacon BBQ sauce, VEGAN BBQ bites, and pulled pork tacos!!!

SF DELICIOUS - "I had the good fortune to attend an event catered by SF Delicious. The nice clothes are put away but the memory of those goat cheese tartlets with caramelized onions linger! I think I seriously ate a couple of dozen. Also on the menu were bacon wrapped dates that were also delicious. I definitely say everything that was put out was delish!" SF Delicious has revealed that their mouth-watering vegetarian option which will be a truffle mac and cheese gratin but have sworn us to secrecy for their main event, all I can tell you is you're gonna want some!

RAW DADDY FOODS - Delicious veggie-stuffed cones! "Our living food cuisine is created using ingredients that are organic, local, and seasonal whenever possible."

TART THIS... AND THEN SOME - "Budding chef Jen Singer makes her debut at DD09 with a twin tart battle for your taste buds! Maryanne vs Ginger. Chocolate, salted caramel and raspberries goes head to head against ginger snap, mascarpone and candied lime!! Who will win? You will!"

Last but not least, we're stoked to have the massage services of Denise DeShetler, CMT Extraordinaire for the evening, she'll be workin' out your kinks and knots for $1/min -can't beat that!

This one's going to be epic, don't miss it!

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV. Two kids not much older than him were on the screen — backwards clothes, fearless energy, commanding the world. It was Kris Kross performing “Jump.”And in that moment, something clicked. It wasn’t just the beat.It wasn’t just the crowd. It was the power. From that day forward, Prentice didn’t just listen to hip-hop — he became it.He sharpened his pen studying legends.…See More
