With High Contrast sitting firmly at dance music's top table, in 2009 he became one of a very rare number indeed, a current recording artist to have released a “best of” album - in the form of High Contrast Confidential, a massive double CD taking in the high points of his first three albums as well as all of his seminal remixes. As he reaches a decade in the game his star continues to shine brighter than ever in 2010 with rave legends Underworld bringing him in for a studio collaboration “Scribble”. Keep your eyes firmly peeled as film and video projects as well as new music all get tee’d up to be unleashed on an expectant world.

As long-time residents of the weird and always unexpected city of San Francisco, Bachelors Of Science are renowned for mixing up and making unique blends of laid back, tripped-out, soul drenched tracks that are designed to be listened to as well as just heard on the floor. Choosing quality over quantity, they are regarded as one of the most consistently innovative and sought-after remixers and producers of the area, working with everyone from dance music legends Groove Armada and Paradox to indie darlings Home Video and Silver Swans.

In 2006, a year after the seminal collaboration album "Welcome to Violence" with Hive, Keaton, and Echo, Gridlok’s debut album “Break the System” solidified his dynamic sound into the vanguards of Drum and Bass. Considered one of the best producers in the genre, Gridlok’s music disturbs and excites dance floors across the globe. Since his start in 1999, he has released tracks with some of the most respected labels in Drum and Bass, including RAM, Shogun Audio, C.I.A., Violence Recordings, and Renegade Hardware. His studio prowess has found him doing remix work for some of the brightest stars in electronic music such as Sasha, Josh Wink, Ed Rush & Optical, Mampi Swift, and Pop Will Eat Itself. An artist not only limited to consistently releasing chart-topping dance singles, Gridlok’s other noteworthy accomplishments include his work with Konami for their massive “Dance Dance Revolution” franchise, and his Grammy-nominated collaboration with AK1200 “Autopsy”.

Known around the globe for their thundering "dirty business," TWO CENTS and the COLONEL MC have been at the forefront of professional drum and bass for over a decade. Sponsored by the London-based World of Drum and Bass, they have rocked their hyphee Bay area bounce for crowds all over the US and Europe, have been covered in electronic music magazines such as XLR8R, and were the featured artists on the World of Drum and Bass 10 Year Anniversary Mix. Their style is rowdy, lyrical and absolutely funky.

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV.
