LATYRX feat.

Lateef the TruthSpeaker x Lyrics Born with live drums!

Latyrx consists of two of the most prominent bay area hip hop lyricists for the past two decades, Lyrics Born and Lateef the Truthspeaker.  The two rooted their partnership as members of the collective Solesides, born on the campus of UC Davis along with other collective members DJ Shadow and Blackalicious(Gift of Gab x Chief Xcel).  With the release of the ground breaking track "Latyrx" produced by DJ Shadow as b-side in 1996, demand soon followed for a follow up collaboration between the two emcees, hence the releas of Latyrx (The Album) the following year.  After the boundary pushing track "Lady Don't Tek No" came out in 1998 on the Muzzapper's Mixes EP, both emcees went on to record material as solo artists. Now with back to back sell-out dates at SF's The Independent, and an appearance at GOOGLE, the two make a stop for an initmate performance LIVE AT THE PAGODA.

Brittany Nicole doesn’t fit into a single lane. She’s a visual architect, a creative polymath, a storyteller who moves seamlessly between pen, lens, and mic. From childhood runways with Wilhelmina Models to commanding the frame behind the camera, Brittany has always operated at the intersection of image and impact. Her next move is no different, she is already making…See More
