About This Workshop:
When do you need permission to use someone else's work? From musical "sampling" to documentary films, many creative works use the original work of others, including art and photographs, music, and written works. Are there circumstances where the law allows free access to such work? This workshop will provide guidelines to the relevant legal framework. With Kathryn M. Wheble. Attorney Kathryn Wheble has represented many artists seeking permissions.
