COME JOIN LOCO BLOCO, BAYONICS, SAMBAXE' & Special Guests on FAT TUESDAY! Live visual art provided by Precita Eyes. DJs Alfie1 Bateria + Walt Digz. 

LOCO BLOCO is a youth development organization with the mission of promoting Bay Area youth’s healthy transition into adulthood by engaging them in the creation and performance of music, dance and theater traditions reflecting the cultural diversity of the Americas. Loco Bloco encourages its youth to use multicultural art forms as a tool for their own empowerment and as a catalyst to help them overcome discrimination and bring about change in their communities. BAYONICS is a 10 piece live hip-hop group spiced with Latin flavor, funk, and reggae, combining live instruments and hot beats with melodic singing and rapping to create a soundscape that reflects the face of urban music and culture in the Bay Area and abroad. (http://bayonics.com/)

SAMBAXE' is a full force, energetic group of dancers that perform various Brazilian dance styles including Rio Carnaval style samba, Samba-Reggae, Axé, Frevo, Maculele and more. They perform at many different venues throughout the Bay Area. This Brazilian-inspired dance group performs alongside with ¡Blocura! & Loco Bloco, a live band led by Alfie Macias. PRECITA EYES MURAL ARTS CENTER was established in 1977. A multipurpose community based arts organization, they play an integral role in the city's cultural heritage and arts education. One of only three community mural centers in the United States, the organization sponsors and implements ongoing mural projects throughout the Bay Area and internationally. (Http://precitaeyes.org/)
