NICKODEMUS been touring as a DJ collaborating with musicians all over the World since 1996! To date, he has released two albums and remix albums (Engangered Species and Sun People), and seven Turntables on the Hudson compilations. His songs can also be found on hundreds of compilations, as well as several movies and TV shows. This night will give us a preview of his latest project, Moon People (to be released October 2011), which takes his sound into the realm of the night, with heavy bass and electronic moods. Nickodemus has done remixes for a wide range of artists including: Billy Holiday, Nina Simone, Bebel Gilberto, Sultan Khan, Omar Farul Tekbilek, Thievery Corporation, Astor Piazzolla, The Pimps of Joytime, and many others. His latest project on his own label, Wonderwheel Recordings, comes after a successful launch of Next Aid in South Africa during the last World Cup, and includes recordings and mixes of songs from children in The Earthchild Project in Capetown. When he's not out on tour, in the studio, or eating pizza, Nick plans his special outdoor event: the eclectic, energetic, legendary NYC party: Turntables on the Hudson.
