Event Description

Brazilian dance music returns to the SEAHORSE in Sausalito as the new samba funk outfit MONDO LOKO hits the stage with the trio COELHO, RIDNELL & CALATAYUD, back from playing in Brazil, opening the show.

Mondo Loko - samba funk!: Mondo Loko emerged from a group of Brazilian and American San Francisco Bay Area musicians interested in playing Samba Funk, Samba Rock and Gafieira. They are the only local band playing music by Brazilian artists such as Banda Black Rio, Clube do Balanco, and Trio Mocoto.

Coelho, Ridnell & Calatayud: a unique trio of 2 Brazilians and one American playing mostly original music influenced by bossa nova, American jazz and MPB.
