Brooklyn born MC and DJ, STIMULUS, is a member of the well known
New York based live-band The Real Live Show. In 2008 he was
featured on the Heartbreak Remix by Michelle Williams of
Destiny’s Child and the 1st single on Tittsworth’s debut
album 12 Steps. In 2007, Stimulus released his debut artist album,
A Kings County Tale, on Sugarwater Recordings/Hitnodic
Entertainment, exclusively distributed through Universal. The album
features special guest appearances from Steele (Smiff-N-Wessun,
The Boot Camp Clique), Spagga (Proyecto Uno), Grammy
Award winner Maya Azucena, Natty Bless, Kae Hoc and Cali
Bud.
His previous work has appeared in numerous television programs
including Show Time Networks gritty police drama Street Time
featuring Terence Howard, infamous horror movie Vampiyaz and the
Pontiac Vibe commercial which Stimulus personally starred in!
Stimulus has also shared the stage and DJ booth with some of the
most respected names in music, such as De La Soul, Talib Kweli,
Redman, Jungle Brothers, Dead Prez, Black Star, Brazilian Girls,
The Cure, Cee – Lo, Mark Ronson, Q-Tip, Rich Medina, Grandmaster
Flash, Pete Rock, Marley Marl, Roy Hargrove, Digital Underground,
Esperanza Spalding and Mos Def.
Stimulus’ current residencies are The Good Spot (105 Rivington) and
The Brooklyn Bounce (Deity).
