Sherwood Announces Live London Show & New Releases This Summer

London’s rising star, Sherwøød, is set to return to the capital with his highly anticipated live performance, showcasing tracks from his upcoming EP. Following a series of sold-out shows and successful releases that have earned him international press and radio support, the acclaimed musician and producer is ready to offer a glimpse of what’s next with his emotive, genre-blurring sound. Known for his dynamic live performances and versatile lyricism, Sherwøød continues to establish himself as a prominent figure on the UK live music scene.

With his upcoming releases and two major performances already announced for 2025 it’s already shaping up to be a defining year for the artist. Drawing upon his classical training and genres like Indie, Hip-Hop, and R&B, Sherwøød combines multicultural influences from his upbringing in Rome, and deeply personal experiences through the spectrum of love, loss, and celebration of life. His powerful sound is a fusion of raw vulnerability and introspective lyricism, interplayed with an undeniable stage presence.

Sherwood’s formative musical journey began at the age of seven, ignited through cello lessons in primary school. It was during a summer camp at Buck’s Rock Performing Arts Camp in Connecticut where Sherwøød first ignited his passion for songwriting and production. Through time, Sherwood has developed his craft, presenting hit after hit that folds in electronic sounds merged with Indie-rock and Hip-Hop mastery exploring themes of isolation, loneliness and trauma.

His upcoming single ‘Wait 4 U Again’, set for release April 3rd, is a deeply personal song, reflecting on a toxic relationship, while ‘Dear B’, due for release on May 2nd, reflects on the heartache of a lost friendship. Deep, engaging and delivered with an authenticity is rarely reflected in modern music. Both tracks actively resonate with the universal emotions of longing and loss.

Already captivating audiences with standout releases like “Pride” and “Dopamine,” Sherwøød has graced respected venues such as The Camden Assembly and Hoxton Underbelly. Furthering his ensuing Summer footprint, expect live performances at O2 Academy Islington on April 3rd, Far East Festival at the Strongroom on May 31st with more exciting news to follow.
