Titled “A Concert For Charlottesville, An Evening Of Music And Unity,” the free event will be held on September 24 at the University Of Virginia’s Scott Stadium.

Hosted by Dave Matthews and his band, the event will include performances from The Roots, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Chris Stapleton, and Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes. Concertgoers are being asked to donate to the Concert For Charlottesville Fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, with proceeds going towards first responders, victims, and their families affected by the violence in the city on August 11 and 12. The concert will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Charlottesville is still dealing with the aftermath of the violence that occurred in the city following the “Unite the Right” rally that occurred. James Alex Fields Jr., the white supremacist who drove into counter protesters and killed Heather Heyer, was arrested following the attack and was denied bail. And as for the six men who attacked Deandre Harris, two of them have been arrested: Daniel Borden and Michael Alex Ramos.

Protesters also interrupted a City Council meeting that followed the violence, with residents voicing their displeasure that the city did not do more to stop the Unite the Right rally.

After remarks from the residents, the City Council informed protesters that they tried to deny a permit for the white supremacist rally but a federal court had ruled in favor of the protest organizers, to which the residents responded unfavorably. However, before the meeting was over the Council members unanimously agreed to drape the statues of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson in black in mourning. Since then, the city has decided to remove the statue of Jackson.
