New single release | Tru Trilla "Drop Jewels" ft Prince Ak & Juxx Diamondz [prod by Tone Spliff] b/w "I-71 Remix" [prod by Qadir]
New Jersey rapper Tru Trilla dropped his banging new album “XVI : Return of the Gods” through New Dawn Records on May 31st.
Immediately featured by Bandcamp on their front page ‘New and Notable’ spotlight section, the release is fuelled by a diverse and potent soundtrack laced with the full artillery. Bolstered by a stellar line up of producers and guest featured artists from around the States and beyond, the result is a series of cuts delivering the best of traditions through twelve gauge bars, beats and turntablism.
From it is the new single “Drop Jewels”. Produced by prolific beatmaker and turntablist DJ Tone Spliff, the joint released today features fellow Newark native and Jersey Gore group member Prince Ak alongside Brownsville’s lyrical warrior Juxx Diamondz. In addition, the new “I-71” remix is provided courtesy of NDR affiliate Qadir who channels his inner Schifrin for a different take with a filmic twist.
