Known artistically as G Soprano, this Worcester, Massachusetts native is currently working on part 3 of his My Kool-Aid & Cyanide mixtape series. I got my name from watching mob movies with my dad. Performing since the early 2000s, G Soprano has used the influence of living in many difference areas such as California, Washington DC and the Big Apple to craft his sound and brand of music. Along his journey he has collaborated with Chris Rivers, Joyner Lucas, Murdah Baby, Computa, Havoc (Mobb Deep) as well as international artists of the likes of Alex Fatt (Puerto Rico), B-Dubb of DPGC (Germany) and El Ay (UK). G Soprano is also proud of his music being featured on Cyrus The Great’s 50 MCs mixtape alongside Grafh, Ali Vegas, Little Brother, Apathy and Royce the 5’9 just to name a few paying respect and tribute to DJ Tony Touch.

"My ultimate goal is to work with different recording artists and rappers who I’ve always wanted to work with and looked up to. I make music that people can relate to and inspire."

Growing up G Soprano was influenced by rappers like Biggie. The Lox, Nas, Kool G Rap, and Capone-N-Noreaga as well as the lineage of music within his family. In Junior High School I took a chorus class and saxophone lessons, but Hip Hop was always where my heart is at. By high school he had saved enough money to purchase DJ equipment and would go on to record mixtapes in house. Hosting parties locally, G Soprano would distribute his mixtapes and reel in fans. Shortly after he and his friends would form a rap group by the name of 3rd Degree Burnz (alongside Klipz, and J Streetz.). Releasing a project "Who We Be" the group would create a locally buzz throughout New England before tragedy would set in. Facing homelessness after the burning down of his grandmother’s home G Soprano would push through but had to distance himself from the group to focus on personal goals.

G Soprano's performance credentials include sharing stages with Styles P., Skyzoo, Fabolous, Ludacris, 112, G Unit, Mr. Vegas, Vita (Murder Inc), Mobb Deep, KRS One, M.O.P., Ruff Ryders, The Bravehearts and Outsidaz. With formidable discography, G Soprano is hopeful in what the future holds for his career and livelihood.

"Not only am I a rapper, I’m an Ahmadi Muslim and as an Ahmadi we believe that humanity comes first. I enjoy giving back to the community and donating to charity. My grandfather was a community activist and me being his grandson I plan on carrying on the family tradition."
