It’s been a while since Bas last released a project (2022’s [Bump] Pick Me Up EP), and even longer since he and J. Cole linked for a song (“The Jackie” was severely overlooked, in this guy’s opinion). The all changes, however, as the pair reunite for the track “Passport Bros.”
The track — produced by DŹŁ (diēsel), Luca Mauti, and AzizTheShake (shout outs to MixedByAli, as always!) – is the second single from Bas forthcoming album. “Passport Bros” keeps in tune with the uptempo feel of “The Jackie,” albeit with a more Amapiano-inspired sound. The track is definitely aimed at the Everyday People crowds, which is likely why Bas’ brother DJ mOma has been playing it at his brainchild lately.
