Jason Patrick Chavez (DJ4AM) cut his teeth doing radio, poetry jams and DJing dive bars in Fresno, California during the 90's before moving to the Bay Area in 2001. Since then he has performed in Europe as well as across the USA. 4AM was also a member of Octavius, Black Fiction and produced "The Little Happy" for bay legend MC Dopestyle. He is now one half of production duo Opal Heights.

DJ4AM: "I used to play records for my mom and my uncle while they got lifted in the kitchen, I was in the living room with all the wax, they had speakers going down the hall. I guess you can say I got my break in the Bay... 1760 Haight st, started rockin house parties in '81."

Spotlight on Sapphira Cristál

“After Hours” is a fierce, high-fashion house anthem that drips with attitude, seduction, and runway energy. Opening with a spoken-word moment in a commanding deep voice reminiscent of Kevin Aviance or Right Said Fred, the track transforms into a dancefloor sermon of power and pleasure. With thumping beats, sultry vocals, and lines that shimmer with confidence (Steppin’ out in a 613 ... my look so puss, so clean’), Sapphira Cristál delivers a declaration of glamour and groove. Already building…See More
