Jake Paul, Who Lives in Puerto Rico, Calls Bad Bunny a ‘Fake American’ in Halftime Show Rant
Influencer and professional boxer Jake Paul took to X on Sunday to tell people to turn off the Super Bowl during Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny’s halftime show performance.
“Purposefully turning off the halftime show,” Paul wrote. “Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them). You are their benefit. Realize you have power. Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.”
Paul and his brother, Logan, moved to Puerto Rico in 2021, primarily to leverage tax benefits, as announced by Logan in an interview with Graham Bensinger.
