Tanisha Avent is an R&B singer and songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. She has been passionate about music and the arts ever since she can remember. Every morning, her inspiration and creativity spark while listening to Whitney Houston with her great grandmother. Although Tanisha is shy, her family encouraged and motivated her to use her gift to make others happy. At the age of 16 years old, Tanisha begins songwriting. She has the uncanny ability to capture true feelings and life experiences.
