Manatee Records has been a part of historical context in Reggae music globally. From its early recordings at the famous Tuff Gong Studios in Jamaica in the early 90’s and residential studio for Bob Marley, to Manatee’s own physical distribution offices of its music from Kingston, Chicago and London.
Their latest release “Bounce & Rhythms” is a compilation project that blends Afrobeat, Reggae and Dancehall tracks. “Bounce & Rhythms” celebrates the global evolution of reggae-rooted music, bringing together Reggae, Dancehall, Lover’s Rock, and Afrobeat through artists connected to Jamaica, Africa, Brazil, and the Americas. “Bounce & Rhythms” has already been submitted for grammy nomination and we expect it to cross borders and make the world dance. Check it out and support it today on all streaming sites.
