- Four over 4 years, Urban Underground Weekly has been providing a home for Hip Hop in Los Angeles that truly embraces all elements and the essence of Hip Hop culture. Friday nights at The Airliner Club have been witness to some of the finest live performances from Hip Hop legends such as Das Efx, Dilated Peoples, Keith Murray, Living Legends, The Visionaries, Haiku D'Etat, Large Professor, Bishop Lamont, Chief Rocker Busy Bee, and many, many more.
This year (2011), Urban Underground announced that beginning in March it is expanding the weekly event to San Diego every Wednesday at The Kava Lounge, Costa Mesa every Thursday at The Tiki Bar and continuing every Friday in Los Angeles at The Airliner. The launch of the expansion will include new special resident's in each city, visual artists and a series of exciting Emcee, DJ, B-boy and beat battles. Stay tuned for full upcoming lineups!
