- My name is Marcos I come from a small town in South Texas called Harlingen. It's about 30 miles north of the Rio Grande and 30 miles west of the Gulf of Mexico. I lived there for about 20 years then moved to San Antonio where I went to school, skateboarded, and drank a lot of beer. 5-6 years later I moved to Japan to teach english in Tokyo. I worked 4 days and skated and drank the other 3 days. It was a great time in my life. Being there was like being on vacation for 3 years. It was fun. After 3 years and basically didn't want to teach englsih anymore, I decided to return to the US, I decided to move to San Francisco. I returned to school to recieve my masters in Architecture and am now a full time employee at a Historic Preservation Architecture firm. I still skateboard on my free time bombing hills or at the berkeley skatepark.
