Bio:
Born Dennis Foray Bundu, MDG Aka Menace Da General is a TALENTED Native of Freetown, Sierra Leone, who migrated to the DC Metro area in the year 2000. MDG has been sharpening his skills and stomping on beats since 2003. He raps in both English and his Native language, Krio. An artist in every sense of the word, he is also a gifted and passionate painter whose colors are as vibrant as his spirit. Never forgetting his roots and the struggles he overcame as a child, MDG is a Philanthropist and an advocate for Children's education and welfare. When asked on National Television in Freetown about what inspires him, he answered with a smile on his face and say, "my homeland", "the motherland", "Africa". Growing up, he was exposed to different genre of music from Reggae to rap, and pop which was his favorite. He often imitated his idol and favorite musician of all times, Michael Jackson, whom he claimed is part of the reason why he chose this path. Currently on a mission to pave his way into the mainstream music industry, MDG is grinding from the underground/mixtape scene to gain your respect, punching you in the guts with metaphores so astounding they brighten your day and issues so deep you'll need a submarine to explore. His versatility in songwriting, singing, and rapping makes him stand out from everything else you've ever heard. Listen to his music and you won't just understand his passion and hunger, you'll feed in it and hear him grow. MDG is also a 2010 graduate of Norfolk State University with a BA in Fine Arts and a minor in Business Education. With that being said, I kindly ask you to please support an aspiring artist and become a part of his success story. Thank you and God Bless.
