Boogie Down Productions producer, DJ and brother of KRS-One, Kenny Parker, revealed earlier this week on his YouTube channel that the classic Big Daddy Kane penned "Nobody Beats The Biz" was actually an answer record.
He explained that Boogie Down Productions' infamous "The Bridge Is Over" spared Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap because they weren't confirmed Juice Crew members at the time. However, Parker revealed that Biz wasn't mentioned in the bridge wars for a different reason.
"Kris told me, and I've heard him say in interviews that his friendship with Biz was why he didn't diss him in 'The Bridge Is Over,'" he said. "He said that he'd never disrespect Biz Markie because they were friends, and until this day he's never involved Biz Markie in any disrespect."
