Event Description

Wax Poetic is a gathering of good people who love good music and day parties that go into the night. Selections from the new music crates in Pep Love, DJ SPREAD, DJ Toure and Dion Decibels collections and a special set from Queens, New York legendary Golden Era rap recording artist\producer (Main Source, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, The Beatnuts) Large Professor! There will be an additional feature set from Smart Bomb specialist Mophono, plus delicious drinks, smoking lounge, $2 tacos from Quelite food truck and a vinyl pop-up shop hosted by Econojam Records! 

If you love hip hop, this is the place to be. If you love soul and jazz this is the place to be. If you love afrobeat and music from around the world this the place to be. This is the beginning of a hip hop movement for the world class music lovers right here in Oakland. Join us!
