In the theatrical documentary, ‘Planet B-Boy’, the art of break dancing breaks on to the scene again. It is like a journey of rediscovering the lost form of the eighties’ era.
Earlier known as B-boying, the dance form took the American performance stage by storm as artists and connoisseurs of music accepted it. The American hip-hop culture has an inherent element of B-boying ingrained into it. It is almost three decades now and the dance form is back with a bounce. The movie takes a close look at five very competitive teams who are gearing up to clinch the ultimate title of B-boying at Battle of the Year.
