Deltron 3030 is coming together to celebrate 25 years since their classic, eponymous debut album. According to Rolling Stone, the legendary trio of Del The Funky Homosapien, Dan The Automator and Kid Koala are hitting the road for a 16-date North American tour. They will kick things off in Vancouver, BC on July 18, and travel across the U.S. and Canada over the next three months.
Deltron 3030 is one of the 2000s' most widely acclaimed albums, and a landmark for indie rap of the period. A futuristic concept album about battling for rap supremacy in a post-apocalyptic world, it also features contributions from Prince Paul, Peanut Butter Wolf, Damon Albarn, Sean Lennon and others.
