Dawn Robinson has had enough. She’s clearing up mass confusion surrounding her living situation after her recent YouTube video went viral. The R&B singer, known for her work with En Vogue and Lucy Pearl, shared with fans that she has lived in her car for the past few years. However, in a statement issued to People on March 21, Robinson clarified that she is not without a home.
“I am not homeless. I am temporarily choosing car life as part of my journey of healing and self-discovery,” Robinson explained, addressing the widespread assumptions.
Since sharing her story, Robinson has been moved by the outpouring of support from her fans and reassured them, saying, “I’m overwhelmed by the love I’ve received. Don’t worry about me.”
