Nearing two years since its initial release, Tyler, The Creator is giving fans a glimpse at the scrapped songs and demos recorded for his 2021 album, Call Me If You Get Lost.
Announced earlier this week with the first of several new visual treatments, the cleverly-titled Estate Sale edition of the project uncovers a grip of material left on the cutting room floor, expanding the tracklist with eight previously-unheard songs with contributions from A$AP Rocky, YG, and Vince Staples, along with production from Madlib.
Call Me If You Get Lost was released in June 2021 to critical and pedestrian praise. The album marked Tyler’s second consecutive No.1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 169,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. It returned to the top of the chart once again the following April when the wax edition went live and quickly moved more vinyl units (49,500) in its first week of sales than any hip-hop album released in the previous three decades.
