In a now-removed open letter, Neil Young demanded that Spotify remove his music due to vaccine misinformation on The Joe Rogan Experience.
To Neil Young, Spotify has to make a choice between Joe Rogan or himself. The folk-rock artist has ordered that Spotify remove his music if they keep The Joe Rogan Experience podcast on the platform, as Rogan was accused of spreading vaccine misinformation earlier this month.
According to The Guardian, Young posted an open letter to his manager and record label on his website, which was later removed.
“I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them. Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule,” he said. “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”
