KENNY DOPE, RAHEEM DEVAUGHN FT. RHYMEFEST - FINAL CALL
BUY LINK: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/final-call-feat.-rhymefest/id818942111
THE DYNAMIC DUO DOES IT AGAIN....
WHEN YOU TAKE TWO ARTISTS, BOTH STUDENTS OF MUSIC, PUT THEM IN A STUDIO READY TO CREATE AND INSPIRE THIS IS WHAT YOU GET... "FINAL CALL".
STAYING TRUE TO MUSIC, KENNY DOPE AND RAHEEM DEVAUGHN'S CHEMISTRY IS PROVEN UNSTOPPABLE.
ORIGINATING IN THE STUDIO.... KENNY DOPE WITH A DESIRE TO CREATE A COOL, FUNKY, MINIMAL BEAT OF JUST DRUMS, KEYS, AND A LITTLE SYNTH.... AND RAHEEM DEVAUGHN HOPING TO COME ACROSS WITH LYRICS THAT ARE SOCIALALLY CONSCIOUS AND MAKE PEOPLE THINK, THE TWO HAVE CREATED THIS AMAZING TRACK.
THEY BROUGHT IN JARARD SNELL ON DRUMS AND JAMES PRESTON ON KEYS ALONG WITH RAHEEMS SOULFUL VOICE THIS TRACK CAME TO LIFE IN 2 SHORT DAYS. IT WASN'T UNTIL ALMOST 6 MONTHS LATER IT WAS DECIDED TO BRING IN RHYMEFEST AS A FEATURE TO SEGWAY WHAT WAS ONCE TWO SEPARATE SONGS AND MAKE IT ONE EXTENDED VERSION INSTEAD. IT WAS AS IF THE TWO SONGS JUST BELONGED TOGETHER.
EVOLVING OVER A TWO-YEAR TIME FRAME, FINAL CALL IS A POLITICALLY CORRECT TAKES ON THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMICAL STREESES THIS COUNTRY AND THE WORLD IS FACING. IT COVERS ALL THE CURRENT STRUGGLES WE FIND OURSELVES IN. IT IS A TRIBUTE, AN ANTHEM, TO ALL THE ICONIC BLACK FIGURES IN HISTORY WHO HAVE HAD POSITVE MESSAGES TO SEND THROUGH THEIR MUSIC NOT ONLY FOR BLACK PEOPLE BUT FOR ALL PEOPLE. WITH THE HELP OF RHYMEFEST AND HIS AMAZING HEARTFELT WRITING HIS FEATURE BRINGS IT ALL TOGETHER AND THE MESSAGE IS CLEARLY PORTRAYED.
FINAL CALL IS A POWERFUL SONG WITH A DEEP MESSAGE. IT IS OBVIOUS THEY WERE ISPIRED TO USE MUSIC AS A WEAPON.
