The operator of the “Ghost Ship” warehouse in Oakland broke down and lashed out Tuesday morning during his first full TV interview about the deadly fire in his space, which claimed 36 lives over the weekend.
Derick Ion Almena, who oversaw the troubled venue and ran an artist collective there, grew confrontational during an appearance on the “Today” show and refused to answer questions about who should be held responsible for the lethal blaze.
