Global icon and Afrobeats star Asake brought Lagos to Kings Theatre in Brooklyn and made history as the first African artist to headline Red Bull Symphonic in the US. Blending Asake’s Nigerian roots with classical music under the direction of conductor Glenn Alexander II, the sold-out event featured guest performances by musical heavyweights like Central Cee, Wizkid, Gunna, Tiakola and Fridayy.
Watch the full performance—then check out the individual videos for “Badman Gangsta”, “Blessings”, “Happiness”, “MMS”, “Wave”, “Worship” on the Asake and Red Bull 1520 YouTube channels.
