Bio:
Jason P. Chavez (DJ4AM) cut his teeth doing radio, poetry jams and club nights during the mid-90's in Fresno, California before moving to San Francisco in 2001. Since then he has released solo outings, over 20 mix cd's, DJed in London, Paris and Barcelona and garnered acclaim as a percussionist, vocalist, producer and DJ with Mush label artist Octavius, Daly City Label artist Dopestyle and SF indy band Black Fiction. 4AM has also held numerous DJ residencies in San Francisco, playing a wide range of styles from eclectic chill rooms to booty shaking speakeasies.

DJ4AM: I used to play records for my mom and my uncle while they got lifted in the kitchen, I was in the living room with all the wax, they had speakers going down the hall. I guess you can say I got my break in the Bay... 1760 Haight st, started rockin house parties in '81.
