Powering Blue Collar Rhymes And A Rebranded Sonic Palette: Acorn Morocco Seamlessly Translates Instrumental Brilliance of Sokorn Touch In New Single

Pinning his artistic monologues at the epicenter, Morocco’s Philadelphia hit new single crystalizes his voice into a diamond sharp record.

Philadelphia, PA — As an artist, Acorn Morocco’s spin on Hip-Hop is the antidote to the formula otherwise followed by mainstream artists to succeed in the musical landscape. His inner monologue of transforming years of voyage and day-to-day work life and experience transfixes an immersiveness at the heart of the song, blending his voice into an audience of millions seeking accord within their own lives, communities, and the genre.

Hip-Hop has steadied Morocco through the grunts life brings, and his chime dive into this genre is testament to his wanting to serve as channel of the voiceless, he says. He’s motivated by a genre who has not only taught him great discipline, but also brought him great joy and fulfillment. Morocco insists, it would be selfish to not share all the genre/culture has taught him with those who may so resonate elsewhere, everywhere. That’s how it was brought to him. Having been mentored by, and lived with some of the premier graffiti artists of Philly, Morocco shares an intimate understanding of the impact Hip-Hop culture has had on the planet, since it’s inception.

The instrumental progression within “Forgive Yourself'”, produced by Sokorn Touch, and arranged by he and Morocco, is an entrancement to the ear and appeals to a diverse populace of the young, old and all falling in center. Each frame of the verses is coupled with an enigma of pure energy, rhythm and a sensation making the human body strut to each bar Morocco delivers. By the end, the record folds it’s lyricism, sleek production and structure into a gilded moment waiting to be revisited through the repeat button.

With years of experience and an extensive desire to create, Morocco strives for far more than a mere release. He is undeniably a force bolstering the future of the music industry.

ABOUT

Born in Jersey, then moving cross-country and back again to North Philly. Acorn Morocco found himself in San Diego for a 2 year stint amidst his constant back and forth from Jersey to North Philly (They’re neighbors). This semi-constant moving was an integral part of Morocco’s life, before settling in North Philadelphia once again, where you’ll find him today.

During this time, Morocco’s work ethic had magnified into a lifestyle where most of his artistic exploits went into his work as a Stone Mason, and Carpentar in the Philadephia area. An advocate for hard work, in whatever form it takes, Morocco devoted most of his spare time honing his craft in the genre, never compromising his mindset of delivering a more personal, relatable brand of Hip-Hop.

Hip-Hop as he states has been a shoulder through the major (and beyond) events of his life. The genre has motivated him, and kept him centered, serving as his release valve when necessary.

Artists who have influenced his purpose to create music and further listening include DOOM, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Streets, Khruangbin, Monk, Outkast, Japanese Breakfast, Pac, Beasties, Rakim, Kool Keith, Tribe, Big, Camp Lo, Kane, EDK, Jimmy Greek, Miles and many more.
