Meet Bridgeport, Connecticut’s, Mula Guapo--A hip hop artist well-known for his trap-soul and hip-hop trap sound and energetic performances. At an early age, Mula was introduced to the artistic capabilities of his father and uncle, and began to develop his timely punch lines and captivating story-telling lyrics by recording songs in his closet and listening to the rap styles of Jadakiss and 50 Cent.
As Mula became more in tune with his artistic expression, his personal artistic influences shifted to Chief Keef, Meek Mill and Drake. Their inspiration resulted in Guapo having his first studio session at fourteen years old. Three years later, he released his first mixtape entitled, Beast Mode (2017).
In 2017, Mula's single “Crazy” elevated his presence significantly among Connecticut’s youth and beyond. The single earned Mula Song of The Year from the 2018 Connecticut Fashion and Music Awards and radio recognition on Connecticut’s Hot 93.7 Up Next show as well as on New York’s Hot 97.1.
