An Inspiring Singer, Phenomenal Songwriter, and Loving Great-Grandmother – E. FaShawn Washington Unveils Stunning R&B

Recording Gospel and R&B tracks that are enriching and reassuring, Washington is achieving her motto- ‘don’t stop living while you’re still alive’

Bronx, NY — October 6th, 2022 – Offering pathways of reflection and inspiration, E. FaShawn Washington’s music is an escape for all those who are feeling lost. A force of motivation, the artist’s music reminds listeners that no matter what they are going through, there is a greater power that can make things better.

A lover of dreams, the talented artist who is now a great-grandmother, wrote her first song at age 16 while still in high school but didn’t actualize her God-given gifts until recently. After raising two children as a single mother and helping to raise 4 of her ten grandchildren, the dream re-emerged, and she began writing and recording songs.

Infusing her music with elements from a range of genres, including Gospel, R&B, Reggae, and Blues, E. FaShawn Washington has funneled her talents into inspiring listeners to improve their lives. She has performed at renowned venues such as Harlem’s iconic Sylvia Restaurant and Farafina Night Club & Grill, as well as the Bronx’s Two Sha Night Club and Grill.

Rising to fame with her numerous appearances on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN), the artist dropped her first track, “You Can Do It,” (warm-up), on June 17th, 2022. The energizing warm-up track is a part of a longer 30-minute workout song title, “You Can Do It,” was co-written and co-produced by James A. Johnson.

A rejuvenating up-tempo track, “You Can Do It,” is rife with encouraging lyrics that elucidate a motivational message to revitalize the listener’s health, mind, and spirit.  The track was followed by the artist’s second track, “He Would Not Cheat,” having dropped on July 19th, 2022.  This track was recorded by Washington and her grandson, Jayquan Outlaw, who curated the Rap lyrics alongside the artist.

Washington then followed with her track, “Ou Ah for the Wildman,” which dropped on August 19th, 2022, which was also recorded by her grandson, Jayquan Outlaw, and herself.  The fourth track, “I Can’t Wait to See You Again”, was released on September 23, 2022.  She released her fifth track, “It All About You,” on October 8th, 2022, which features another collaboration with her grandson, Jayquan Outlaw (JQ).
