Metairie, Louisiana —May 30^th, 2023 – An original, immersive, and creative release- “Wun-Nut” is an ode to squirrels- their intriguing pursuit, acquisition, and satisfaction that stems from nuts and the connection to humans who get to enjoy the same pleasure! With the song being released on August 10^th, 2022, the new single was written, arranged, and produced by the artist himself. Kerry Vinette’s remarkable instrumentation and vocals further elevate the experience for all listeners.

“Wun-Nut” is the result of continual efforts from the artist, including a 2-week span which he spent just to study the behavior, movements, motions, and actions of squirrels and what they did daily. Kerry then went on to use those unique elements to choreograph the line-dance and entitled it – “The Wun Nut Strut.”

Going the grass-roots route, Kerry recounts how his song has been described as “fun” and “enlivening” by 100% of audiences. Working as an Uber driver in New Orleans, Louisiana with direct contact with the public, the artist has shared his style with listeners by doing live performances for passengers from Samoa, Reykjavik Iceland, Brazil, China, Amsterdam, Australia, Jerusalem, Indonesia, and Stuttgart Germany among others world-wide.

“I think my music is unique because it has that authentic old-school flavor from when I grew up, mixed with the traps, current rhythms and beats that grab the attention of ears immediately!” says Kerry Vinette regarding his music.

Imparting the key notion of staying ‘prayed-up’ and ‘never giving up’ the talented artist remains grateful and indebted to God and His only son Jesus Christ. Kerry affirms how he has been blessed through 15 surgeries, Prostate cancer and several other issues but remains motivated to achieve his purpose and utilize his God-gifted life and talents.
