The brash Atlanta rapper with the royal name isn't about to let anyone tell him what he can orcan't do."i was given my name by my mother and my grandfather [because]I was always independent,"explains Tut."I hustled and grinded to get to where I'm at now."Tut is no rookie to the game, he started out years ago before striking out on his own.
As he stands on the cusp of stardom, Tut heeds the words of people who have his best interest at heart, i n and outside of the industry. Ma$e was one of my mentors. Dj Drama,Russell Simmons,my mother, [and]Minister Louis Farrakhan[are others]," he explains. "I've been doing music ever since I was 7 years old. Tut has been working with Affiliates, his first single, "Hustle Queen," is already generating buzz and his album ,Birth of A New King, is one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year. For all of the work that he has put in, he has no problem being patient in wating for his time to shine. After all, royalty doesn't have to impress anyone-in time, the world will know. In the meantime,Tut continues to put his best foot forward and surround himself with positive thinkers."[I believe in] being around people that you'll be able to benefit from and who will guide you and protect you," he declares.
