Who are we? UnHeard Radio is an internet radio station that has been a brain storm of its founders for quite some time. The whole idea behind the station is to let any artist with quality recordings subscribe to the station for broadcasting, instead of begging local radio station to even listen to their music. Internet radio is at a fast pace growth and more and more people are listening at work, home, and school. We anticipate wifi radios will become available on walkmans and car stereos one day. How could it work in a car or walkman? Well Google built a huge city wide wifi network in California it would work on, as soon as other major cities see the value in those networks, the technology will advance.
What do we do? Well, it’s very simple, we connect listeners to artists. We provide the vehicle for artists to get “heard” from people all over the world. Our servers provide broadcasts that do not have any limitation to how many listeners can connect. Meaning, if 500,000 listeners decided they wanted to tune in, we say bring it! We also give our subscribing artists a means to sell their work. Our pop up player shows the album artwork and always displays a buy album button the listener can click on and purchase the artists album or download.
Why do we do it? Because our co-founder is also an independent artist and knows exactly what it’s like to be an independent artist and have a good product that no radio station, producer, or major label will even take a look at. Let’s face it, it isn’t about how good your stuff is anymore, it’s who you know. Not with UnHeard Radio, we give everyone a chance. We introduce you to listeners all over the world using strategic marketing techniques that have been proven to work by almost every successful business on the planet.
