Mike Nice has been a part of the music industry since 1993,
starting as a dedicated street team director for the popular San
Francisco urban music radio station, KMEL 106.1 FM, then gettinghis
own show on San Francisco State University's radio station KSFS
100.7 FM. Then, spinning with host Kevvy Kev on the longest running
hip hop radio program 'The Drum', which made its debut in 1984.
'The Drum' had been previously DJ'd by Kutmasta Kurt and Joe Quixx,
to name a few. In 1995, Mike Nice followed in the steps of these
prominent DJs by continuing to provide listeners with all elements
of hip hop. A highlight of Mike Nice's career as a DJ came last
year when he filled in for DJ Revolution on Sway and Tech's
nationally syndicated hip hop radio program 'The Wake Up Show'.
Mike Nice is known for his seamless blending of records over the
airwaves on 'The Drum.' Tao also appears at numerous clubs around
the Bay Area. His sets vary with each appearance, and are often
balanced with old and current favorites.
