Egon with Billy Ball (from the Upsetters) at Billy's recently closed Rain Check Bar in Indianapolis, IN. By day Egon runs an obscure record label called Stones Throw, which specializes in the once-popular medium of vinyl recordings. By night, he gets busy with his own label Now-Again, DJing with a vast collection of funk 45s, and basically hanging out with funk musicians three times his age. He has produced, among others, "The Funky 16 Corners" and the Stark Reality reissues for Stones Throw, and now makes his own debut as a Stones Throw artist with his album of funk breaks, "Curse Of The Evil Badger". also see:
