My name is Xavier Brodie, professionally known as “XBrodie”. I am a singer, rapper, song-writer, actor, director in Raleigh NC. I grew up in a small town called Kenansville NC, where many talents lose hope due to a lack of opportunity. Leaving home at the age of 15 forced me to search for that lost opportunity, and luckily for me, I was able to find that through creating. I started writing songs and poems around the age of 6 to cope with my father not being around. Later I would find that my friends were impressed with my rhymes, so here I am years later, still making music. You will find that a lot of my music is best listened to on long rides in the car, so you have the opportunity to reflect and relate to the stories hidden behind instrumentation that makes you float. After opening for acts like Lil Baby, Glorilla, & Wale, I realized that I needed a song to make the people feel good. This is why I created my most recent song “Love Tonight”. A song that fills the club, but still has a story about a guy who’s faking his confidence in the club to a woman who isn’t in a place to want a relationship. You should check it out.
